DocStor is a multi-user document control system based on client-servertechnology that allows the user to control, store, retrieve and modifylarge numbers of files in an organized manner. DocStor works similar to amanual documentation control room by providing a repository (documentstorage area) in which all released/controlled documents (files) arestored. This storage are may reside in physically distant locations, butto the DocStor user it appears to be one large storage area. DocStorallows users to check out, copy, revise and submit documents within acentral control and monitoring structure.
